| Meet the MLCC Chairperson, Nida Samona |
Nida R. Samona, J.D. is a graduate of the Detroit College of Law and Marygrove College. For the past six years, she has been an active member of the Southfield City Council and Council President. For the past ten years, Ms. Samona served as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Macomb County. She was assigned to the Criminal Sexual Conduct Unit, prior to that she served as a trial attorney in Macomb County Circuit Court and District Court. She has been an attorney for twelve years. Her exceptional courtroom experience and Council duties will provide for a smooth transition into her role running the Michigan Liquor Control Commission.
