LANSING, Mich. — Michigan Veteran Homes at Grand Rapids (MVHGR) is honored to accept a donation of a golf cart which will directly benefit and support the veteran members at the Home. The Greater Grand Rapids United States Bowling Congress (GGRUSBC) and Michigan State United States Bowling Congress (MSUSBC), along with Bowlers to Veterans Link (BVL), the non-profit organization that supports veterans and active-duty service members through recreation therapy programs and services, are behind the generous donation. The golf cart will be delivered on Friday, Dec. 16 at 11:30 a.m. at 2950 Monroe Ave. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505.

The check presentation will include attendance by Pat Cross, former president of GGRUSBC; Cherylle Secl-Cross association manager and director of GGRUSBC; Melanie Newton, vice president of GGRUSBC and director of MSUSBC; Jacque Monje, director of GGRUSBC and MSUSBC; Fran Reus, director of GGRUSBC; Robin DeMario, director of GGRUSBC; Amber Borrello, director of GGRUSBC; Libbi Fletcher, consultant to BVL and MSUSBC; Betsy Genger, staff administrator for MSUSBC; and Corey Dykstra, CEO of Brunswick Bowling Corporation.
