How long do providers have to report PE course completion information to the State of Michigan's DIFS Education Roster Entry System?
DIFS highly recommends reporting PE completion as soon as possible after the student successfully completes a program of study.

Do providers have to enter the full SSN into the roster entry system?
No. Providers need only enter the last 4 digits of the SSN.

Do providers need to print the full SSN on the PE completion certificate?
No. Providers need only print the last 4 digits of the SSN on the completion certificate.

Are providers required to use the DIFS Education Roster Entry System's PE completion certificates or can their own certificate be used?
Providers can use their own approved PE completion certificates or are welcome to use the certificates that are provided from the roster entry system.

Is the student's date of birth (DOB) required on the PE completion certificate?
No. The DOB is collected for transmittal purposes ONLY and should NOT be displayed on the PE completion certificate..

Is there a dollar-per-credit fee charged to providers for rostering PE completion information?
No.

Will providers be required to roster student completions prior to the implementation of the DIFS Education Roster Entry System?
No. Providers will be required to enter PE course completion information the date the system goes "live".

Is the PE completion certificate required to be sent to students after successful completion of the course?
Yes. Providers must still deliver, email or mail, PE completion certificates to students that successfully complete a Pre-licensing Education program of study.

Are students required to take their PE completion certificates to the testing site to allow them to take the respective examination?
No. The provider must electronically report the PE course completion information using the DIFS Education Roster Entry System as soon as possible at the end of the student's course completion.
