ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: Thursday, June 7, 2012

PROJECT: Detailed inspection of the vertical lift bridge, including evaluation of structural, mechanical and electrical components.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: Intermittent lane closures and frequent opening of the bridge will be required from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. One lane of traffic will be open in each direction. In accordance with a permit from the U.S. Coast Guard, mariners will be required to give a 30-minute advance notice requesting the bridge to be opened during the inspection period.
