MGCB BOARD MEETINGS SCHEDULE
The Board's scheduled public meetings will be held at its Detroit office located in the Cadillac Place at 3062 West Grand Boulevard, Suite L-700, Detroit, MI 48202. The meetings will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the staff briefing, followed immediately by the regular agenda items.
The purpose of both the staff briefing and Board meeting is to conduct Board business regarding the implementation, administration and enforcement of the provisions of the Michigan Gaming Control & Revenue Act, as amended, Public Act 69 of 1997, MCL 432.201, et seq ("The Act") relating to the licensing, regulation and conduct of casino gaming in the City of Detroit.
The meetings are open to the public and questions, comments and suggestions from the public, regarding Board business and the licensing, regulation and conduct of casino gaming in Detroit under the Act, are welcomed and encourage during the public comment portion of the meeting.
The meeting location is barrier-free and is accessible to persons with special needs. Persons needing special accommodation or assistance to attend or address the Board at the meeting are asked to contact the Michigan Gaming Control Board at (313) 456-4100 to make the necessary arrangements for such special accommodations or assistance.
If there is any change in the date, time or place for any of the Board's schedule of regular public meetings, public notice of the new date, time, and place of the meting will be promptly posted at its principal offices in Lansing or Detroit, and at the principal office of the Michigan Department of Treasury in Lansing, in accordance with the Michigan Open Meetings Act, 1976 PA 267. Schedule changes will also be posted on the Board's website.
