M-46 rail repairs begin next week

PROJECT: Railroad crossing repairs on the west end of the village of Breckenridge. The crossing will be closed starting at 7 a.m. Monday morning.
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is partnering with Mid-Michigan Railroad Inc. to complete this project.
TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: Eastbound M-46 traffic will be rerouted south on Baldwin Road, then east on Lincoln Road, and north on Barry Road back to M-46.
Westbound M-46 traffic will be rerouted south on Barry Road, then west on Lincoln Road, and north on Baldwin Road back to M-46.
CUSTOMER BENEFIT: This work will increase safety by improving the overall condition of the rail crossing.
