Mark R. Hogle was recently appointed by Governor Jennifer Granholm to the Funds Administration’s Board of Trustees. This board oversees the Self-Insurers’ Security Fund, Second Injury Fund, and the Silicosis, Dust Disease and Logging Industry Compensation Fund.
Mr. Hogle is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Accident Fund Insurance Company of America. He holds positions on the Michigan Workers’ Compensation Health Care Services Division Advisory Board, the National Advisory Board of MSU’s Workers’ Compensation Center, the Workers’ Compensation Research Institute, and is a representative to the Economic Alliance. He is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Hall of Fame, and also a member and immediate past chair of the Compensation Advisory Organization of Michigan.
Mr. Hogle is replacing Eleanor Powell, who has resigned from the Board, to represent insurance company interests for a three year term.
