Governor Makes New Appointments to the Board of Magistrates

Governor Granholm has announced the following appointments to the Board of Magistrates.

David M. Kurtz, Jr. of Bloomfield Hills, for a term expiring January 26, 2013. He succeeds Andrew Sloss who has resigned.

Michael J. Mason of Rochester Hills, for a term expiring January 26, 2013. He succeeds John Rabaut who has resigned.

These appointments are subject to Section 6 of Article V of the Michigan State Constitution of 1963. They stand confirmed unless disapproved by the Michigan Senate within 60 days.
