FAQ
  Jobless Worker
I am confused by some of the terms you used on form 1575 - the Notice of Redetermination. Could you explain them?

Answer:

BENEFIT YEAR BEGINS DATE — The Sunday date of the first week of your benefit year. Usually this is the Sunday of the week in which your new claim was filed.

BENEFIT YEAR ENDS DATE — The Saturday date your claim ends. It is one year from the Benefit Year Begins date.

REFERENCE CODES — These code numbers provide further explanation of your determination. The reference codes are listed on the back of the Monetary Determination form.

LAST EMPLOYER CHARGE FOR FIRST 2 BENEFIT WEEKS — In most cases your last employer will be charged for the first two weeks of benefits paid on your claim. If there is an amount in this field, that is what has happened.
