State Treasurer Jay B. Rising has named Cynthia Faulhaber as Deputy State Treasurer for State and Local Finance. In her twenty years with the firm, Faulhaber was involved in many practice areas including tax increment financing legislation, inter-local government agreements, university and college financing, economic development, and the establishment and financing of public libraries.

Faulhaber holds Bachelor of Arts and Masters degrees from Oberlin College, and received her law degree from Wayne State University. Faulhaber is active in the community, having served as a board member of the United Way of Michigan and the Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan.
