subject to the Revised Municipal Finance Act, (PA 34 of 2001), must submit their
annual qualifying statement electronically using the Department of Treasury's

If the municipality has not previously submitted a qualifying statement
online, it must first obtain a password. To receive a password, the Chief
Administrative Officer (CAO) of the municipality must call the Local Audit and
Finance Division at (517) 373-0660 and request one. Once the Division confirms
the CAO status, a password will be issued. This password must be used for the
initial login but may be changed by the municipality, if desired.
