State Tax Commission Classification Appeals

In late 2009, the State Tax Commission (STC) filed over 10,000 classification appeals before the Michigan Tax Tribunal. The following links list the entities involved, the appeals that were withdrawn, and the last link is to a Memorandum issued by the STC regarding inaccurate information that may have been disseminated to the public with regard to these appeals. The Tribunal is processing these cases, but due to the number of the Appeals and lack of staff, it will take some time to complete the task.
