Judge Asbury was appointed to the Tax Tribunal in 2006. Before coming to the Tribunal she served for 16 years as a Legal Drafter for the Legislative Service Bureau Legal Division specializing in the areas of single business tax, income tax, economic development, and local government. Prior to that she worked for various social welfare organizations as an advocate for and a mediator on behalf of children and adults with developmental disabilities, children with special education needs and their families, and child care organizations. Judge Asbury received her bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and her law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
Appointment expires June 30, 2010.
