The Michigan Department of Treasury released the names of state colleges and universities that qualify for participation in the Michigan College Tuition Tax Credit program.
Parents or guardians with students at these qualified educational institutions who have an adjusted gross income (AGI) of $200,000 or less are eligible to receive a tuition tax credit. The tax credit can be up to $375 per student and will be applied to the taxpayer's
2007 income tax liability. The taxpayer must complete Schedule CT and attach it to the
2007 MI-1040 income tax form to claim this credit.
The following schools have been certified by the Department of Treasury as being qualified under the provisions of this program. Approved colleges and universities are listed alphabetically with code numbers to the left of the name.
