Can I take a safety training course outside the state of Michigan to add the required endorsement to my Michigan driver's license?
 
Answer:
Out-of-state motorcycle rider safety completion cards can be accepted as proof of completing a motorcycle rider safety course from all other states except Idaho and Oregon. Completion cards from Idaho or Oregon may be accepted only if the completion card indicates the program meets or exceeds the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Basic or Experienced RiderCourse requirements. Out-of-state motorcycle rider safety completion cards are valid for one year from the date of completion.
