Ballot Proofing for February 28, 2011 Presidential Primary Election

Please forward a copy of the ballot set prepared for the election in PDF format to the Bureau prior to production. Bureau staff will review all ballots to ensure that they conform to the current ballot production standards, specially produced sample ballots and recent communications. 

Note* sample ballots specially designed for the presidential primary were included in memorandum sent to county clerks via both email and standard mail on December 15, 2011. 

Michigan Ballot Production Standards: It is important that those responsible for the production of ballots closely observe all applicable legal and technical ballot production standards.

Submit all proof sets by email to the attention of Carol Pierce at piercec1@michigan.gov .  Please include "Ballot Proofs" and the name of your county in the subject line of your email submission. If corrections are needed or any changes are made to the ballots following submission and/or approval, the PDFs must be re-submitted.
