M100 Time
Settings:
If your jurisdiction uses M100 tabulators, ask your election inspectors at some
point during tomorrow's election to check the time entry on the tabulator zero
tape which they generated before the polls opened. If the time entry is
inaccurate, further instruct the election inspectors to make an appropriate
notation on the remarks page of the poll book.
This advice is
offered as the M100 tabulators are not yet programmed to accommodate the new ?
and later ? Daylight Savings Time ending date. (This year, Daylight Savings
Time ends on Sunday, November 7.) As a consequence, if you have not yet reset
the time feature on your M100 tabulators to compensate for the later Daylight
Savings Time ending date, it is probable that the tabulators have already rolled
back one hour.
If you have not yet
reset the time feature on your M100 tabulators at this date, do not
attempt to make this adjustment at this point in time. As explained above, an
appropriate notation in the poll book is adequate.
