If you do not redeem the vehicle or request a hearing within 20 days of the notice sent by the Secretary of State, and the secured party does not redeem the vehicle, the law enforcement agency or its authorized agent may sell it at public auction and you will lose all rights to it. You may also be subject to other fines and penalties.
