FAQ
  Vehicles
What do I have to do if I get a call to tow a vehicle from private property?

Answer:
If the vehicle is on a private single- or dual-family residence, you must notify the law enforcement jurisdiction where the vehicle is located prior to removing the vehicle.  You must provide sufficient information for the law enforcement agency to check if the vehicle is stolen.

If the vehicle is on other private property, such as an apartment complex or private lot, you may also wish to check that the required signage has been posted before contacting law enforcement or removing the vehicle.
