Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land today announced that the Mobile Branch Office will be at the Michigan State Fair in Detroit from August 11 – August 22 to serve area customers. Mobile Branch Office hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

"We’re making it as convenient as possible for people to do business with us," Land said. "The Mobile Branch Office lets us serve customers in all corners of Michigan."

Following its visit to Detroit, the Mobile Branch Office will travel to East Lansing and Allendale. It has logged more than 100,000 miles since it first hit the road nearly seven years ago.

Land encourages all customers who have Internet access to check out the department’s online services at www.Michigan.gov/sos before visiting any branch office. For example, vehicle license plates and watercraft registrations can be renewed online. Browsing the site also helps customers determine fees and requirements before they go to an office.
