Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land today announced that the Mobile Branch Office will be at the Muskegon Heights City Hall on May 17 – 18 to serve area customers.

The facility provides all services found at any Secretary of State branch office and is handicapper accessible. It is hauled statewide on a 24-foot trailer.

The Muskegon City Hall is at 2724 Peck Street. Mobile Branch Office hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

"We’re reaching out to customers across Michigan," Land said. "The Mobile Branch Office is a great tool that lets us bring services to our customers."

Following its visit to Muskegon Heights, the Mobile Branch Office will travel to Morenci, Lansing and Galesburg later in May. It has logged more than 100,000 miles since it first hit the road nearly seven years ago.

Land encourages all customers who have Internet access to check out the department’s online services at www.Michigan.gov/sos before visiting any branch office. For example, vehicle license plates and watercraft registrations can be renewed online. Browsing the site also helps customers determine fees and requirements before they go to an office.
