Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land today announced that the Mobile Branch Office will be at the 13th Annual MARVAC Northwest Camper & RV Show in Traverse City on March 26 - 28 to serve area customers.

The facility provides all services found at any Secretary of State branch office and is handicapper accessible. It is hauled statewide on a 24-foot trailer.

It will be at the Grand Traverse Civic Arena, 1213 W. Civic Center. Mobile Branch Office hours on March 26 - 27 are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 28.

"We’re making it as convenient as possible for people to do business with us," Land said. "The Mobile Branch Office lets us serve customers in all corners of Michigan."

Following its visit to Traverse City, the Mobile Branch Office will be in Grand Rapids, South Lyon, and Charlotte in April. It has logged more than 100,000 miles since it first hit the road nearly seven years ago.

Land encourages all customers who have Internet access to check out the department’s online services at www.Michigan.gov/sos before visiting any branch office. For example, vehicle license plates and watercraft registrations can be renewed online. Browsing the site also helps customers determine fees and requirements before they go to an office.
