YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT THE BOARD OF STATE CANVASSERS WILL MEET ON TUESDAY, JULY 22, 2003, AT 10:00 A.M. IN ROOM 124 OF THE MUTUAL BUILDING, 208 NORTH CAPITOL AVENUE, LANSING, MICHIGAN.

 

 

Included on the Agenda will be:

  • Report on review of nominating petitions filed with the Secretary of State for the new judgeship in the 38th District Court (City of Eastpointe, Macomb County).
  • Consideration of "new political party" petition submitted for approval as to form by the 1 Million Family Corp. Party, 8828 Pembroke Road, Detroit, Michigan 48821.
  • Consideration of the Optech Insight optical scan voting system submitted for approval for use in Michigan by Miller Consultations and Elections, 6318 Iroquois Road, Pentwater, Michigan 49449 (agent for Sequoia Voting Systems of Oakland, California).
  • Consideration of the 400C central count optical scan ballot reader submitted for approval for use in Michigan by Miller Consultations and Elections, 6318 Iroquois Road, Pentwater, Michigan 49449 (agent for Sequoia Voting Systems of Oakland, California).
  • Such other and further business as may be properly presented to the Board.
