Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land today announced that the Mobile Branch Office will be in Clinton County to serve customers in the Elsie and Westphalia areas on June 21 - 22.

The facility is a full-service Secretary of State branch office and is accessible to the disability community. It is hauled statewide on a 24-foot trailer.

On Wednesday, June 21, it will be at the village of Elsie office, 125 W. Main. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Thursday, June 22 it will be at the Municipal Center, 200 N. Willow in Westphalia. Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

"This is a convenient way for area customers to take care of business," Land said.

"I encourage residents to take advantage of this opportunity."

Following its visit to Westphalia, the Mobile Branch Office will be in Dearborn Heights, Novi, Northville, Prescott and Battle Creek. The Mobile Branch Office has logged more than 100,000 miles since it first hit the road nearly nine years ago.

Land encourages all customers who have Internet access to check out the department’s online services at www.Michigan.gov/sos before visiting any branch office. For example, license tabs and watercraft registrations can be renewed online. Browsing the site will help customers determine requirements before they go to an office.
