Cancellation

The Secretary of State can cancel a driver license if it has been unlawfully or erroneously issued, or if the application for the license contains untrue or false statements.  Parents, legal guardians or responsible adults  may cancel a minors license if they no longer wish to be held responsible.

Cancellation means that a license is terminated because of some error or defect or because the licensee is no longer entitled to such license.   A new license may be applied for anytime after a cancellation and all fees must be paid at the time of application.
