Fund-raising license plates can be ordered for a fee, in addition to the annual vehicle registration fee, when renewing by mail or in person.  Motorcycles, trailers and vehicles used commercially are not eligible for a fund-raising plate.

Complete the renewal worksheet using the two-digit plate found below.  The new license plate will be mailed within 14 days.

Original Fee: $35 in addition to the annual registration fee ($25 goes to the university or cause).

Renewal Fee: $10 in addition to the annual registration fee ($10 goes to the university or cause). The $10 will be included in your registration fee on your renewal notice.

To order a nonfund-raising veteran plate, a personalized license plate or to obtain a disability license plate, you must visit a Secretary of State branch office.
