Avoid Late Fees

Do not wait until the last minute to renew. Your license plate expires on your birthday, not at the end of the month. A $10 late fee is assessed for each plate renewed after it expires. Plates that expire on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday may be renewed the following business day without penalty.

Allow 10-14 days for your tab and registration to arrive by mail when renewing online, by mail or telephone.
