The Michigan Domestic Violence Prevention and Treatment Board's Report to Michigan provides information about Michigan's efforts to address the problem of domestic violence. The Michigan Domestic Violence Prevention and Treatment Board (MDVPTB) was created by the legislature in 1978 and consists of seven members appointed by the Governor to lead statewide efforts to eliminate domestic violence in Michigan administratively placed within the Michigan Family Independence Agency.
