Product Information:
The recalled product comes in 3-ounce sized bars with distinctive green packaging.  All lot numbers of the item are covered by the recall.  The recalled product was a limited-edition item that is no longer in production.

Products were sold between March 2006 and June 2007.

Problem/Reason for Recall:
The recalled product may contain undeclared milk.  People with allergies or severe sensitivities to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the recalled product.

The recall was initiated after a consumer contacted Artisan Confections about an allergic reaction, and it was discovered that Kumasi Sambirano packaging did not reveal the possible presence of milk.
