• Supplemental Educational Services Under No Child Left Behind, some students in schools that have been identified as "in need of improvement" are eligible for supplemental services. Supplemental services are tutoring, small group, or computer instruction in reading or math provided before or after school, on weekends, or during the summer.

baseball, turned to painting. After studying at Ohio State University,
Bellows moved to New York City where he became a student of Robert Henri
and the New York School of Art. He first achieved recognition in 1908.

• The Michigan Historical Center - Student Activities and Resources A wonderful way to learn about Michigan and to explore resources about our state. The center preserves and interprets Michigan's past and helps people discover, enjoy and find inspiration in their heritage. Part of the Michigan Department of History, Arts and Libraries, the center traces its roots to 1913 legislation creating the Michigan Historical Commission.
• Researching Mackinac, Forts, Fur Trade, Artifacts, etc. Mackinac State Historic Parks maintains a library of books, research files, photos, maps and microfilm on Mackinac history. Appointments should be made at least two weeks in advance.
• Wildlife Educational Resources A loan program for educational resources, including videos, slides, fliers and posters, from the MDNR's Wildlife Division.
