July 30, 2007 - History enthusiasts and car lovers are in for a treat Saturday, Aug. 4, with "Walker On Wheels 2007" at Walker Tavern Historic Site in Brooklyn. This show, featuring vintage cars and trucks, runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to viewing exceptional old vehicles and talking with their owners, visitors may take a tour of Walker Tavern, a popular stagecoach stop in the mid-1800s and a roadside attraction since the early years of automotive travel.
