MDOT to improve 7.5 miles of M-91 near Greenville

ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: Friday, July 31, 2009

PROJECT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is scheduled to begin chip seal and resurfacing work along 7.5 miles of M-91 in Montcalm County. Work extends on M-91 through the village of Langston from Colby Road north to Kendaville Road.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: Intermittent single-lane closures will be in effect with traffic maintained in each direction through flag control. For up-to-date information on this project, go to the list of statewide lane closures at: www.michigan.gov/drive.

CUSTOMER BENEFIT: Motorists will benefit from the improved driving surface and the extended service life of the road. This $385,000 project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and is the second ARRA project to be let by the Howard City TSC.
