MPSC Directs Glacial Energy of Michigan, Inc. to File its Renewable Energy Plan

The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today directed Glacial Energy of Michigan, Inc., a newly-licensed alternative energy supplier (AES), to file its renewable energy plan (REP) within 90 days.

Public Act 295 of 2008 requires all electric providers, including AESs, to file a REP.

After the company files its proposed plan, there will be a public comment period.  The MPSC is required to approve or reject the plan within 90 days of the filing of the plan.

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth.
