A public hearing to consider the possible commutation of sentence of John Cosgriff, #202081

The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 14, 2009, to consider the possible commutation of sentence of John Cosgriff, #202081.  It will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Handlon, Richard A. Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.

John Cosgriff is serving a 10y - 30y sentence for the crime of Conspiracy to Deliver/Manufacture a Controlled Substance 225-649 Grams. He was sentenced on June 11, 1998 from Macomb County. He is also serving a Life sentence for the crime of Possession of a Controlled Substance Over 650 Grams. He was sentenced on January 3, 1989 from Oakland County.

The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board.
