Snyder makes appointment to State Board of Architects

LANSING, Mich. - Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Dan Lamble, of Troy, to the State Board of Architects.
The nine-member board was created in 1980 to regulate the practice of architecture. Today, it oversees more than 5,000 licensed professionals.
"I look forward to Dan's work on the board to ensure safety and encourage innovation in architecture," said Snyder.
With more than 30 years of experience in industrial, health care and commercial facilities, Lamble is a senior engineering manager with Walbridge. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects of Michigan and Association of Licensed Architects. Lamble earned a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Michigan. He will represent architects and replaces Steven Flum on the board.
Lamble will serve a four-year term that expires March 31, 2016, and his appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
