| MI 360 |
| What
is the MI 360? |
| The
MI 360 is a gift for leaders who want to Know How To Grow.
The MI 360 is for
the Leader who truly wants to know if their leadership efforts are having
the impact intended. Using the MI 360, a Leader assesses themselves and
requests feedback from others. A Leader asks peers, direct reports, supervisor(s)
and others to provide them feedback using the same survey. The survey
is comprised of 36 behavior statements to which respondents indicate the
frequency a Leader exhibits each behavior. Responses are kept anonymous
and compiled in a report which the Leader uses for professional development.
A Leader's future development is based on the gift others give them through
MI 360 feedback.

| Why
are we doing the MI 360? |
|
We have all been affected
by the budget deficit, reduced workforce due to early retirements, and
the constant demand to do more with less. With these real issues our leaders
need real feedback. We cannot expect different results unless we perform
in a different way. The MI 360 is a great tool for Leaders to get feedback
on how to change the workplace. Using the MI 360 not only adds structure
to a Leader's development goals but it will also help to achieve five
goals from the State's Vision:
* Leadership Development
* Public Service is Revered
* Employees are Recognized
* Our Values are Evident In Our Work
* Michigan is a Great Place To Do Great Work
