| The Office
of Great Workplace Development is supporting efforts to keep the workforce
motivated and focused on the State of Michigan Vision and Values. Recognizing the workforce
for successfully using the resources available, achieving milestones,
opening the process to include and value everyone, and working
collaboratively to discover alternative avenues is critical to motivation.
People are energized through meaningful work, authentic involvement, and
genuine opportunities to shape the future. Through the Organizational
Development Officers network the State of Michigan will improve its recognition
initiatives and expand the Governors recognition of state employees.
An example of one State of Michigan recognition program is the Photo Gallery below, which
depicts individuals recognized by their peers for exemplifying our shared
values.
