Pension Basics |
|
You are eligible to retire with a full retirement at any age when you have
attained 25 years of service as an enlisted officer.

Your pension formula multiplies your final average compensation (FAC) by 60
percent.

Generally, your FAC is your last two years of service. Navigate to
Calculating Your FAC under Available
Benefits on the left navigation bar to learn more.
The pension formula above is for a full retirement. Pensions are calculated
differently for a deferred retirement, disability retirement, and survivor
pension. Your pension plan may also continue to your spouse and/or minor children
when you die as a retiree. Review the different eligibility and formula rules
for these by clicking on
Available
Benefits on the left navigation bar.
