As citizens, we each play a special part in preparing our families, communities, and businesses before an emergency. With the support of emergency personnel, it is our responsibility to know how to respond and protect ourselves during emergency situations.

Be Prepared, Be Safe campaign, the Michigan State Police, Emergency Management and Homeland Security Division (MSP/EMHSD) is working hard to educate Michigan residents on how to prepare and remain safe
before, during, and after an emergency strikes.
