Basic Investigator School

September 27 - 30, 2010

The Basic Investigator School (formerly called Basic Detective School) is designed for the new detective/investigator and includes classroom lectures and workshops.  This course is offered to certified law enforcement officers only.  Topics of instruction include:

  • Arson Investigation
  • Forensic Pathology
  • Auto Theft Investigations
  • Forensic Artists
  • Lab Updates and Review
  • Child Abuse Investigation
  • Technical Services
  • Intelligence Gathering and Information Process
  • Extremist Groups
  • Computer Crimes
  • Fraud and ID Theft
  • Confidential Informants

TUITION:

$300 (Lunches only)
$430 (Lodging and meals)
Lodging is based on double occupancy, additional charge for prior night lodging

Class size is limited.  Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.  To register, please complete the registration form.  Return completed forms to:
