Douglas Gene Bowers was last seen on Nov. 14, 1997, at Waylon's Roadhouse Bar near Lexington in Worth Township, Sanilac County, Mich. His vehicle was recovered on Dec. 8, 1997, in the parking lot of a Meijer in Fort Gratiot, Mich. The Michigan State Police Crime Lab located blood on one of the vehicle's windows. Searches were conducted in the surrounding area using cadaver dogs. Foul play is suspected. Bowers had no known medical conditions. A clothing description is unknown.
