• Idlewild, Michigan Transformation Initiative The Idlewild, Michigan Transformation Initiative is a partnership initiative established by Governor Jennifer M. Granholm in 2007 to "create jobs, build a thriving community and ensure a bright future for Idlewild". It is anticipated that the initiative will also prove beneficial to the Lake County region as a whole. • Inter-Agency Transformation TeamServes as a forum for state agency discussion, policy implementation and development, collaboration and programming/services synergy. | • Planning Assistance TeamServes as a sub-committee to the Inter-Agency transforamation Team focused on Idlewild master plan development, offering planning oversight, technical assistance and resources (i.e., funding and services) to Yates Township and/or the Transformation Partnership. | • Transformation Partnership Facilitators(State Agency Captain, Local Community Captain, and Agency Co-Leaders) Facilitate Transformation Partnership activities. | • Transformation PartnershipServes as a forum for "on-the-ground" planning and soliciting transformative projects, formulating requests for resources (i.e., funding and services) from state agencies/departments and other partners, and performance measurement. | • Transformation CommitteesCommunity and Partnershop Representatives. Serves as a forum for highly-focused "on-the-ground" dialogue, needs assessment, and planning as sub-committees to the Transformation Partnership. |
