Directory of Subsidized Housing

Purpose of the Directory of Assisted Multifamily Rental Housing
The Directory of Assisted Multifamily Rental Housing has been compiled to serve as an inventory of subsidized rental housing for middle to low-income residents. It also provides data that will facilitate the planning of future housing developments.

How To Find A Place To Live:

  1. On the homepage of MSHDA's website, look under the Locator section, click on Directory of Subsidized Housing

  2. Then click on Directory of Subsidized Housing

  3. On the left side, click on the county you want

  4. Scroll down the page to select the development you want

  5. Call that development's office, using phone number provided

  6. Ask about vacancies

Program administrators are listed as the following:
MSHDA (Michigan State Housing Development Authority)
HUD (Housing and Urban Development)
Public (city or township)
Rural (formerly Farmers Home Administration)
Other (Tax credit projects that are MSHDA-reviewed, but not MSHDA-monitored)
