The following information was issued by MSHDA on December 27, 2007: A letter from the Governor to the MSHDA Board, dated December 21, 2007, regarding the 2008-2009 Qualified Allocation Plan:

MSHDA held additional Public Hearings in November 2007, to take public comments on the Revised Draft 2008-2009 Qualified Allocation Plan. MSHDA held an Information Forum and a series of Public Hearings in August and September 2007, to take public comments on the Draft 2008-2009 Qualified Allocation Plan. Information and public comments can be found on the August/September 2007 Public Hearing page and the Draft Qualified Allocation Plan and supplemental information can be found on the Qualified Allocation Plan page.

On Friday, May 22, 2007, MSHDA concluded 4 Information Sessions designed to take comments and recommendations to modification of the Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP). Copies of the written comments we received are now available for viewing. We will add additional comments as we receive them. MSHDA will be hosting public hearings on modifications to the QAP later this summer. Look for notification of these public hearings on our website.

Changes were made to LIHTC Policy 19 (Use of Tax Credit in a Cool Cities Designation) and LIHTC Policy 21 (Guidelines for Reviewing Eligible Projects). The changes concern the process for MSHDA acceptance of applications for the 2006 Cool Cities Holdback:
