The Service Quality Division (SQD) is responsible for assisting the Commission with the development, implementation, and enforcement of telephone and energy utility quality of service rules, orders, and policies relating to the Commission’s customer information and support functions. SQD distributes information to consumers regarding telephone and energy issues and coordinates the statewide consumer forums that the Commission hosts each year. SQD also processes all of the consumer telephone and energy complaints and inquiries submitted through the Commission’s website and toll-free number each year. SQD works with customers and companies to resolve complaints in accordance with state law and the Commission’s rules and orders. The Service Quality Division is comprised of two sections: Customer Support and Service Quality.
