MPSC Approves Settlement Agreements Authorizing 2012 Power Supply Cost Recovery Factors for Four Electric Cooperatives

February 15, 2012 - The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved settlement agreements with four electric cooperatives authorizing their 2012 power supply cost recovery (PSCR) factors.
In Case No. U-16886, the MPSC approved a settlement agreement authorizing Midwest Energy Cooperative to implement a PSCR factor of up to $0.02905 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) in 2012. The utility and the MPSC staff participated in the settlement.
In Case No. U-16887, the MPSC approved a settlement agreement authorizing Ontonagon County Rural Electrification Association to implement a PSCR factor of up to $0.00064 per kWh in 2012. The utility and the MPSC staff participated in the settlement.
In Case No. U-16888, the MPSC approved a settlement agreement authorizing Thumb Electric Cooperative to implement a PSCR factor of up to $0.00098 per kWh in 2012. The utility and the MPSC staff participated in the settlement.
In Case No. U-16889, the MPSC approved a settlement agreement authorizing Great Lakes Energy Cooperative to implement a PSCR factor of up to $0.01583 per kWh in 2012. The utility and the MPSC staff participated in the settlement.
The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
