MPSC Approves Settlement Agreement Authorizing Northern States Power Company's 2012 Power Supply Cost Recovery Factor

February 15, 2012 - The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved a settlement agreement authorizing Northern States Power Company to implement its 2012 power supply cost recovery (PSCR) factor.

Under the terms of the settlement, the utility is authorized to implement a PSCR factor of up to $0.00506 per kilowatt-hour in its monthly billings to its Michigan retail electric customers, effective with the next billing month.

The utility, the MPSC staff and Citizens Against Rate Excess participated in the settlement.

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
