The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today issued an order seeking public comments on the procedures to be adopted by the MPSC regarding the allocation of the amount of load to be served by an alternative electric supplier (AES).
Section 10a(1)(a) of Public Act 286 requires the MPSC to issue orders establishing that "no more than 10 percent of an electric utility's average weather adjusted retail sales for the proceeding calendar year may take service from an AES at any time."

All recommendations for these procedures should be consistent with the provisions of Section 10a(1)(a)-(d) of Act 286.
