The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today said it is seeking public comments on the analysis and content of the decoupling report required by Section 97(4) of Public Act 295.
That section of the Act requires the Commission to submit a report on the potential rate impacts to all classes of customers if the electric providers whose rates are regulated by the commission decouple rates. The report is to review whether decoupling would be cost-effective and would reduce the overall consumption of fossil fuels in
Michigan.
