The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved two settlement agreements authorizing Edison Sault Electric Company (Edison Sault) and Northern States Power Company to reconcile their 2006 electric power supply cost recovery (PSCR) costs.
In Case No. U-14703-R, the MPSC approved a settlement agreement that found Edison Sault had under-collected $543,849. The company is authorized to collect the under-recovery by applying a surcharge of $0.00087 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) for a period of 12 months. An average residential customer using 500 kWh per month will see an increase of 44 cents on their monthly bill.
In Case No. U-14705-R, the MPSC approved a settlement agreement that found an over-recovery of $94,945. The company is authorized to roll that over-recovery into its current 2007 PSCR plan costs.
